Leadership
In the early 2000's, Pastors Doug and Theresa Smith experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus that transformed their lives completely. Fully surrendering to God, they left behind their secular lifestyle to embrace a life of faith, sanctification, and service to the Lord.
In 2018, Doug and Theresa were sent out from Bastrop Christian Outreach Center (BCOC) in Bastrop, Texas, under the Lord’s instruction, to plant a church in Pocatello, Idaho.

With a passion for preaching the gospel and ministering to others, they are dedicated to helping people encounter the transformative power of Jesus. Known for their practical, down-to-earth approach to ministry, Pastors Doug and Theresa live by the Word of God and teach others how to apply it in their daily lives. Their greatest joy is seeing people thrive in Jesus—witnessing families restored, healings received, and purpose discovered. To them, these are the true rewards of preaching the gospel. With hearts full of love and a deep desire to see everyone walk in victory through faith, they are committed to guiding and equipping believers to live out God’s purpose for their lives.

Baptism of Water and of the Holy SpiritWe believe in water baptism, in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the spirit, and in the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.
